This cutting-edge program is meticulously crafted to address the pervasive challenges posed by anger, which can severely disrupt lives, deteriorate relationships, and in extreme cases, lead to criminal activities. The complexities associated with managing anger-related issues necessitate a comprehensive approach that not only addresses the symptoms but also the underlying causes of anger, irritability, and violence.

This 12 to 18-hour course is based on well-established, research-based techniques aimed at identifying, assessing, and effectively managing anger. It covers a wide array of interventions and strategies, from motivation enhancement and addressing biological contributors to employing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and relaxation techniques. This program is unique in its comprehensive approach, incorporating the exploration of anger's nature, its effects on individuals and their relationships, and systemic factors that perpetuate anger.

Participants will delve into various aspects of anger management, including understanding and addressing denial, enhancing insight and empathy, and exploring the impact of identity and occupation on anger. The program also emphasizes the importance of addressing extreme anger and the use of humor as a tool for managing anger, all while being aware of its potential pitfalls.

Upon completion of the program, which includes homework and a final examination, participants will receive an Accredited Certificate of Completion in PDF format and will be entitled to use the title “Certified Anger Management Specialist” or “Certified Anger Management Therapist,” depending on your level of completion (12 or 18 hours). PREREQUISITE:

This certification program is open to mental health professionals who have earned a master’s degree or higher in a helping relationship field, such as psychology, counseling, social work, or psychiatry. Trainees must have a solid foundation in psychological assessment and report writing, as well as experience in clinical practice. A strong understanding of ethical considerations in mental health practice is also essential.

Target Audience For This Presentation: The Custody Evaluator Certification Program is intended for master's level professionals who are currently working in or aspiring to work in the field of family law, including:

1. Licensed Psychologists and Counselors: Professionals who provide therapeutic services to families and children and seek to expand their practice into forensic custody evaluations.

2. Social Workers: Social workers involved in family services, child welfare, or court-related work who want to specialize in custody evaluations.

3. Family Law Mediators and Arbitrators: Professionals who assist in resolving family disputes and wish to enhance their expertise in evaluating custody arrangements.

4. Any Mental Health Professional: Individuals with a master's degree or higher who have an interest in family dynamics and the legal aspects of custody evaluations.
